Yakitori Chicken Skewers

Serves 4



Mix all sauce ingredients together in a small pot. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
Allow the sauce to cool slightly before dividing between 2 bowls.


Chicken Skewers

Pre-heat a grill or barbecue.
Soak bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes. Thread the chicken, alternating with the green onion, onto the skewers.
Grill the chicken, turning occasionally and basting with one of the bowls of sauce to keep it moist. The drippings can also be used to baste the meat. Once the chicken is cooked through, remove from the grill and brush with the sauce again.

Serve while hot with the other bowl of sauce on the side.
