Crispy Triple-Cooked Beef Short Rib


Rub the ribs with black pepper. Heat butter in a pan over medium heat and sear ribs on all sides.

Transfer to a large oven-proof pot. Add the remaining ingredients to the pot and simmer over medium heat for around 2 hours.

Meanwhile, pre-heat the oven to 200°C. Remove pot from the heat, transfer to the oven and bake for 10 minutes.

Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes then carve into thick slices.

Serve beef ribs with the sauce from your pot and steamed vegetables.
