Chargrill Charlie’s Classic Cheese Beef Burger

Method

Recreate Chargrill Charlie’s Famous Cheese Beef Burger for your mates.

Serves: 4
Burger Sauce

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and season to taste.

Season the beef with Chargrill Charlie’s Steak Sauce, salt and pepper.

Divide the ground beef into 4 portions (approx 250g each). Using your hands, form the beef into a round patty shape then press down to flatten.

Heat a cast-iron pan over medium-high heat. Grill the patties for 3-4 minutes per side or until brown. Remove from heat and set aside.

Add butter to the pan and allow to melt. Place brioche in the pan, cut side down and toast until golden and slightly crispy.

Assemble the burgers in any order you like with tomato, red onion, iceberg lettuce, beef patties and cheese. If you like your cheese slightly melted, place cheese slices directly on top of the hot beef patty. Drizzle over burger sauce then place the top half of the brioche bun on top.
