Locals of Hawthorn rejoice!
If you missed out on HOLY MOLY’s first installation of the Holy Weekender back in July, your prayers have been answered, because it’s about to make a comeback.
On Saturday 18 November, Glenferrie Station will be buzzing with excitement thanks to the much-loved Hawthorn pizzeria, which has partnered up with Ironlak and Coors Beer to throw a festival for one day only. Food, drinks, local artists, dancers and retailers are coming together for the event – giving you a chance to get truly merry in Glenferrie.
Whether you’re more of a festival spectator or want to be thrown in the thick of the action, there’s plenty going around for you to get stuck into.
November’s installation will look a little different to its precursor thanks to the team at Montanasa Studios and their crew of freestyle dancers, who will be putting on a show for visitors. If you want in, email firstname.lastname@example.org to bust a move or two.
You’ll also have the chance to win a whole year’s worth of pizza at HOLY MOLY, gifted to the winner of the pizza eating competition. After all that eating, it’ll be time for a stroll through the stalls filled with local goodies before taking to the stage for some karaoke, kicking off at 9pm at HOLY MOLY – the host of the official afterparty.
