After gracing Kent Street with its presence for six years, Sydney CBD bar, Since I Left You has revamped, refreshed and relaunched itself as SILY.
After giving his pride and joy a full facelift, Since I Left You owner Nick White has recently launched SILY, and the CBD bar is back and sassier than ever. Thanks to a completely new brand identity, a snazzy new interior, a leafy courtyard and two very exciting new food and drink menus, SILY is set to be a go-to destination for all who find themselves in the Sydney CBD with a hankering for a great cocktail and a few delicious nibbles.
This modern little bar is snuggled between the iconic heritage buildings of Kent Street. Bringing a truckload of fun back into the CBD, the bar looks to get you a little silly as soon as you enter the door.
With its inside and outside walls lined with huge street-art murals, a pun-tastic cocktail menu and a generous dose of regular entertainment, there is quite obviously so much more to love about this fun-filled bar than its central location.
Top off your Tuesday with a bit of healthy trivia competition or settle into a laid-back Thursday evening with SILY’s Live Music nights, there are also rumours of a bit of hip-hop karaoke scene making its way to SILY in the near future.
Alongside the relaunch of the venue is the addition of a lunchtime menu. Their classic gourmet toasties will be returning along with a smattering of new dishes. The food of the moment, poke bowls, will be making an appearance as well as an intriguing new range of waffles, including Waffalafels (yep you guessed it, waffled falafels) and a mac ‘n’ cheese waffle.
The cocktail list is just as exciting with signature cocktails flaunting names such as Pisco Fever and Citrus Self Down, you can be assured that there is no room for sceptics here. However, for those looking for something a little more mainstream, the rest of the drinks menu is filled with recognisable wines and beers from all corners of the world.
Perfectly located and equipped with all you should need after a long day in the office, SILY is brining a bit of life back into the very serious Sydney CBD. Whether you are after a quick bite, a stiff drink or a destination for an all-day session, look no further than this Kent Street gem.
