Love Your Soul Studio
75-77 Parkers Road, Parkdale

A new hub for the mind, body and soul is here, in the form of Love Your Soul. The boutique studio is complemented by an organic wholefoods bar, offering a whole body experience under the one roof.
Love Your Soul is the brainchild of talented couple, Eleesha Nesci-Dixon and Chris Dixon. Travels through America on their honeymoon saw them discover the range of wholefood hubs scattered around the country and this ignited a passion to create a hub of their own in their seaside suburb. They established the whole foods bar in late 2015 and the upstairs wellness studio followed shortly after, completing the holistic experience.
The refurbished venue – it was previously Eleesha and Chris’ family home – includes a warm and intimate studio, a consultation room for massage, nutrition and kinesiology, and a relaxation room for clients to make the most of before and after class. The design echoes the wholefood bar downstairs – it has a simplistic, Scandinavian feel with white walls and pops of colour throughout.
While Eleesha designed the entire wholefood bar singlehandedly, the couple commissioned talented artist, Antoinette Ferwerda, to create a feature wall in the studio. The artwork is based on colours that flow throughout the venue and is the perfect calming centrepiece.
Eleesha has enlisted the services of 10 instructors from a variety of backgrounds, styles and career paths to lead daily classes at the studio. Classes include Vinyasa, Kundalini, Slow Flow, Power, and Mums and Bubs Yoga; Kids Space (incorporating Yoga, Mindfulness and confidence building); Pilates Barre and Mat Pilates. A free running group on Sunday mornings completes the offering, providing an avenue in which the like-minded community can meet while enjoying Parkdale’s beautiful beach tracks.
For a slower class with an emphasis on mindfulness, opt for a Kundalini yoga session. This deeply meditative class focuses on structured poses held for longer periods, encouraging deep muscle repair and restoration. The slower pace also allows participants to maintain a strong meditative sense and concludes with a well deserved Savasana relaxation.
Love Your Soul’s wholefoods bar has smoothies available for pre-order, which are ready for you as you finish your class. This connection between studio and wholefood is illustrative of the mind and body connection that Love Your Soul encourages in all clients.
Eleesha and Chris’ small business has a big heart. With a variety of different yoga and Pilates classes on daily and the organic wholefoods bar serving healthy snacks all week, Love Your Soul caters for wholesome self-loving every day of the week.
