For eight years, we’ve printed our passions on paper, creating books we’re really proud of. You might have seen, read, gifted or rested your coffee on Flavours of Melbourne or Flavours of South Australia, or spotted the award-winning covers of the Wellness Book and the Specialty Coffee Book on the counter at your favourite cafe.

We were paper-only people, but we all knew the internet’s siren song couldn’t be resisted forever. After some crazy all-nighters in 2015 we realised that we’d made a website – the perfect accompaniment to our printed products.

And that is how Smudge Eats was born. This is our digital space, devoted to the food, wine and coffee of Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Bali, Hong Kong, Singapore and London.

And while the web is bursting with authorities on where to eat and drink in each of these cities, we aim to delve that little bit deeper, and serve up the real stories behind your favourite foodie destinations. We hope you enjoy reading them as much as we enjoy making them.
